My Brief Bio

I have published two books, namely: "Career Options, Maria Sirdar-Nickel" LSI December 2014 and "Taylor's Pneumatic Toys" LSI December 2012. I have published articles in the 2 e-magazines of the Science Teachers Association of Ontario (STAO), "Metro Voice," "Canadian Teacher" and the "Fredericton Gleaner." I wrote a monthy astronomy column for the Uxbridge COSMOS for two years. I have co-authored two science curricula for STAO.

Currently, I give half-day, hands-on science workshops to school students and educators in 12 school boards in and near the Greater Toronto Area. I have also done workshops for educators at Johnson Space Center (NASA) in Houston, the Ontario Association of Physics Teachers and STAO.
